Jake Peacock, DO

Jake Peacock, DO


Dr. Jacob "Jake" Peacock graduated from The Ohio State University having majored in Biology. He completed medical school at the Nova Southeastern University Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine and later his residency in Internal Medicine at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. Dr. Peacock speaks both English and Spanish and looks forward to emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach that provides advanced training and real-world experience necessary to excel in the dynamic and fulfilling field of sports medicine.
Kevin Thomas, DO

Kevin Thomas, DO


Dr. Kevin D. Thomas graduated from the University of Richmond in Virginia majoring in both Psychology and Biology with a concentration in Neuroscience and a minor in French. He completed medical school at the Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine and later his residency in Family Medicine at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. Dr. Thomas speaks both English and French and intends to maintain a true primary care/sports medicine practice after the fellowship as well as serving in a teaching capacity. "I have been fortunate to have excellent and passionate mentors throughout my training and I want to be able to return the favor to the next generation of physicians."

Brandon Barsky, MD

Brandon Barsky, MD


Dr. Barsky graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology and minors in Chemistry and Religious Studies from the University of Miami (Coral Gables, FL). Later he earned his medical degree from the Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine (Boca Raton, FL). He completed his residency in Pediatric Medicine from Nationwide Children's Hospital/The Ohio State University COM prior to starting the Soin Sports Medicine Fellowship. He has an extensive list of volunteerism including leadership positions in committees, mentoring programs, student and resident wellness, and recruitment. Dr. Barsky has memberships in both sports medicine and pediatric societies and plays the alto-saxophone.
Kyungje Sung, MD

Kyungje Sung, MD


Dr. Sung was born in South Korea and grew up near Boston, MA. She graduated summa cum laude from Andrews University with a degree in biology. She earned her medical degree from the Loma Linda School of Medicine and completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Tufts Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, finding new shows on Netflix, running, and discovering new restaurants and cafes.

Ben Noble, DO

Ben Noble, DO


Dr. Noble is a native of Eaton, Ohio and attended undergrad at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. He is passionate about sports medicine, injury prevention and sports performance. In his spare time he enjoys college football, MMA and cooking.
John (Jake) Novotny, MD

John (Jake) Novotny, MD


Dr. Novotny is from the Dayton area originally. He graduated from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine where he trained in Long Island, NY and south Florida. He then went on and completed his residency in pediatrics at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. He enjoys playing and watching sports, exercising, outdoors, and spending time with his wife and pets.
